sirrah Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 Please ED, you already added these two great looking types of technicals. Surely it shouldn't cost too much of your resources and time to remove the weapons and add them as regular unarmed pickups. Please We could really use these pickups aside from the 3 polygon civilian car we have now As a bonus, but I don't want to push it , a few different colors would be icing on the cake. 1 System specs: i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM - Realsimulator FSSB-R3 ~ That nuke might not have been the best of ideas, Sir... the enemy is furious ~ GUMMBAH
Hairdo1-1 Posted November 25, 2022 Posted November 25, 2022 There is a white Nissan pickup mod kicking around. https://forums.mudspike.com/t/dcs-civilian-objects-and-vehicles-mods/12455

I know there are plenty of beautiful mods out there, but I rather keep my missions mod-free. I don't really fancy having to download additional stuff when trying out someone else's mission, so I want to keep mine "clean" as well. Looking at the two technical models we have now, I'm pretty sure ED just started with a clean pickup model and then added a few weapons to it. I have no software dev skills whatsoever, but surely, ED must still have the original pickup model available. @BIGNEWY; Any chance you could pass along this wish, to the dev team? My approach to this matter is the opposite: I edit my missions mostly for my own use, my needs came first, and if I need a user Mod to obtain the required immersion then so be it .. probably that is the reason why I seldom share my missions, as I know that most users are allergic to user Mods. Yes, you said so before and to each their own. Although it's a pity, as I know you're a very capable mission creator and I'm sure people would like your missions (with or without mods) Personally, I like to play with the ME from time to time and once I'm satisfied enough with the result, I do want to share it with the community and hope that other people like it too. If not, well, I did my best, I like the result myself and had fun making it. But I guess, we're wandering away from what I wished for here. 1 System specs: i7-8700K @stock speed - GTX 1080TI @ stock speed - AsRock Extreme4 Z370 - 32GB DDR4 @3GHz- 500GB SSD - 2TB nvme - 650W PSU HP Reverb G1 v2 - Saitek Pro pedals - TM Warthog HOTAS - TM F/A-18 Grip - TM Cougar HOTAS (NN-Dan mod) & (throttle standalone mod) - VIRPIL VPC Rotor TCS Plus with ALPHA-L grip - Pointctrl & aux banks <-- must have for VR users!! - Andre's SimShaker Jetpad - Fully adjustable DIY playseat - VA+VAICOM - Realsimulator FSSB-R3 ~ That nuke might not have been the best of ideas, Sir... the enemy is furious ~ GUMMBAH
