I started a thread just like this a week ago, curiosuly the answer was "if hes flying slow, get slower".

http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=20763&highlight=gunzo

It still doesnt explain how the flanker can turn in a dime using pitch during stall and rudder. Its even more transcendant when I start at his 6 and the flanker does that half loop up in almost 0 speed and hovers there knowing I wont be able ever to match it to point my nose at him. And as I overshoot him he still has authority to turn and roll into my 6 at his will. My common sense says then he should have droped the nose down instead to gain speed leting me come down on him while hes recovering.

AI flanker? If not, then what are YOU doing there with such closure and without having filled him full of holes while he's balooning already?

SFM is not a great thing - but in this case, again, why are -you- slow and unable to just go up where he can't point the nose? :P

And if YOU are so slow and HE was so slow, why did you not fill him full of holes? :P

Because fights degenerate into low and slow turns and I havent yet discovered how they do all those moves without any authority (at least I cant at that speed). Human VS human. AI is too easy and dont pull those kinda moves.

The reason why I haven filled him with bullets is because Im stuck in lag porsuit the whole time... I cant prevent it that slow because Im constantly being out-turned.

Some people can put out-turn me in equal terms no matter what I do, like having simple flat turns, I rarely turn as fast as they do, the result is, after we began in equal terms we do several flat circles and he still manages to pull into my six despite my best efforts to maximize and optimize usefull trun rate at horizontal. I do this many times on purpose just to evaluate how good they turn in order to decide the tactics on my next rounds. I see them shake the nose sideways during these slow turns. I wonder if rudder has any parazitic efect on the SFM. But I still havent figured it out myself. And before you ask, yes rudder is part of the tunring, but I mean they shake it alternadly sideays. Its quite strange. And the nose shaking is also evident on those 0 speed loops.

Side to side... side to side... and there he goes, he made the hovering immelman into my tail again while Im strugling to move the plane at all.

F-15's don't fight in flat circles. Correct, try again, report back :D

Rudder shaking: They may be putting themselves in a stall to make you overshoot, it does happen I hear. If you're stuck in lag, roll and dive INTO the circle, cut ahead of him, and then gun him down - low yoyo. Or relax on the stick, accelerate and extend. Quit sitting in the tar-pit :P

LoL Frostie....

when i usualy flight against guys who are working, i try to manage help with accuracy, to make the pilot in front, understand what is going on.

But i ll point once, I ll not say ,even here, do that , and after do that , it take so much time to find yer own way,and RvE wrked age on it, so basic rules exist and you have to fly it with discipline but in the other hand with the knowledge you carried with experience you have to break this rules with creativity and right timing, if you fall your experience will provide a door to find back a balance position.

that why i really recommend you to find yer way to fly, you will take more pleasure and you ll be more proud this way then if a =RVE= monkey say to you do that and that.

But i still up for help and our guy will do the same.

I m realy happy to see interest growing up for DF, it is one way to become complete pilot ;)

Kula i ll be up tonight , i just have to assume a =RvE=Training beetween 1000-1200 pm UT. see ya

Just a quick query.....

You said you were at 300kph? That is about 165knts. Remember the Eagles hud is in knots not kilometers. The Eagles roll rate and turn radius is best at about 300 (550kph) to 400knots (730kph). Anything below that an it essentially becomes a flying brick

not a flying brick if you manage your energy statut to keep a good lift.

Like i said before the eagle can outturn a flanker, but his CS is higher and even if the turn rate of the flanker is lil lower his turn radius is smoller and he can assume more AoA, so it mean eagle pilot has to fight first against G! if he do it correct he will be deadly.

Very true but keeping your speed above 300kts leaves room for errors. If you get below 300 and start turning in tight circles you will bleed energy and that will greatly improve the margin for errors and also leave you without the energy to defeat a missile shot.

I've just had to delete a pile of typing and spelling mistakes....I'm English and you lot who are not type and spell better than me :megalol:

EDIT- PS the flying brick was a joke :) Its like the old adage about the F4.......It proves the areodynamic theory that with enough power you can fly a brick :)
