when i try to drop the gbu24 with the stock setting the bomb is released way to early and even if i hold the laser the whole time it still comes up miles from the target. the only way i can make it hit where i want, is i drop it half way in between min and max ranges and hold the laser the whole time of flight. the thing that throws me off is when i drop a gbu-12 in ccrp everything goes perfectly  and the auto lase works perfect every time, the first bomb drop in the track is a gbu12, to demonstrate that things work, then the next drops are the gbu24 different ways until the last couple where i drop them the only way i know how to put the round on target.  any help is greatly appreciated.

what is the cue range for? is there a table some where that we can cross reference speeds vs altitudes. i figured  out that dropping at 20k at 400 to 500knots 8 miles out seems to work as long as i use the laser through out the flight, to keep bomb on course.

I have a feeling the GBU-24 is not completely modeled yet. Or maybe more specifically, the release cues are not accurate for the bombs flight profile. My experience is with the Hornet and at low level, but similar to yours, in that the release cues aren't to be trusted.

The GBU 24 is working fine, at least in SP. Dropped in pairs. At different points in the release window. Manual auto-lase set for 20s. See attached track. (Very short) I've also included the mission that I used (self-built so super amateur) if you'd like to try it yourself so you can duplicate the steps that I take.

PROFICIENCY - GBU-24.miz GBU24 is fine.trk

Depending on the mode, the Gbu24 can go into a lvl flight

thank you for the time you took to post, one thing i found strange is when both of the first gbu's hit it gave the ship 21% damage total, where when each of the second volley of gbu's hit they each gave 21% damage each. i dont currently have time to try your mission but i will try it out when i get time. thank you

looking more into the gbu-24  i  had the expectation that it should work like every other lgb,  not all weapons work the  same way.

i have read that in the dcs gbu24 has or will have an autopilot? is it implemented in dcs yet? what does it do? what will it do?
