As a cockpit builder I’d like the ability to stay in VR but manipulate real world switches. Intel i9 14900K @5.5 MHz, 64GB DDR 5 RAM at 6000 MHz, RTX4090, Pimax Crystal HMD, HOTAS: Winwing F16EX / Orion 2 Throttle base / Top Gun MIP / F-16 ICP setup. Dogmanbird Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 i'm fairly sure I saw someone demonstrate a masking procedure for the quest pro, but not sure if it's built into the base quest software or an ad-on. I demo'd the headset a few months back and found it difficult to read anything like small switch labels because of the poor passthrough quality (slightly clearer than quest 2 passthrough and in colour). it was nothing like the XR3. However, the depth and accuracy for reaching out and touching something / picking up items / flicking switches etc was perfect.
