Shack
Is there currently anything on the market that will allow for mixed reality through a HMD ? As a cockpit builder I’d like the ability to stay in VR but manipulate real world switches. Dogmanbird
i'm fairly sure I saw someone demonstrate a masking procedure for the quest pro, but not sure if it's built into the base quest software or an ad-on. I demo'd the headset a few months back and found it difficult to read anything like small switch labels because of the poor passthrough quality (slightly clearer than quest 2 passthrough and in colour). it was nothing like the XR3. However, the depth and accuracy for reaching out and touching something / picking up items / flicking switches etc was perfect.
