nick10 Posted January 22, 2023 Posted January 22, 2023 The cockpit is looking quite bland and dated. the F86 is one of the sexist birds ever made. how about some love? 4
FlankerKiller Posted January 23, 2023 Posted January 23, 2023 Same, it's still one of my favorite moduals. Also there are several contemporary assets coming. Having a retextured cockpit to fight in would be pretty sweet.
nick10 Posted January 24, 2023 Author Posted January 24, 2023 It’s almost as if DCS needs a paint and panel shop to modernise a couple of aging modules
Trooper117 Posted February 11, 2023 Posted February 11, 2023 With any luck it will get a touch of love... eventually

The hard flight helmets were a new invention introduced during the Korean War, early Sabre pilots would have looked a lot like a Mustang pilot from WWII with a leather helmet. The pilot we have is an anachronism though and should be replaced.
Saguanay Posted April 16, 2023 Posted April 16, 2023 Yeah, I'm still good with a visor....or googles.....do something else. That A word is something to look up in the dictionary ....too late for that.

The P-1 helmet depicted on the pilot was introduced in 1948, the pilot model is a perfectly fine representation of an F-86 pilot at pretty much any point during the Korean War. 1
Saguanay Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Yeah, cool. It's almost like there were other countries who used it and like it was a different era.....goggles on the pilots. What an idea.
