At least one shared airbase.

One shared with Syria map Airbase, for campaign makers, even runway only. Suppose we are on a mission from Ramat David, patrol the border with Egypt, We land, and the next task, an attack on IS positions in Syria. For campaign makers, or even realistic scenarios, this would be great. If the impossibility of building the base results from some agreements between map creators, then at least the runway itself.

We are thinking about this issue. But I can say for sure that it is simply technically impossible to merge a map of Syria to a map of Sinai due to the peculiarities of the technology. We are very limited by the territory (I mean the size of the surface mesh). If we decide to do this, it will be only in the territory that we have.

Of course, we will expand* the map, I have already said that in addition to 3 phases there will be 4 phases (additional, which will include several unannounced airfields)

*By expanding the map, I do not mean the size of the terrain, but only the data that can be on it.

I didn't mean merging the maps, just adding at least a runway like Ramat David. This would allow the creators of missions or campaigns to create scenarios such as: We are flying a patrol over northern Israel, the mission is taking place on the map of Syria, we are landing in Ramat David, and the next mission is already happening on the Sinai map, where we are patrolling over the southern part of Israel. You don't need to merge maps for this, only one shared Airbase of OnReTech choice.

I understand you, yes this is a good idea, I think that we will implement in the future. It is important that the airport be like in the map of Syria? I mean the number of airfield parking lots, the frequency of the beacon, etc..?

that's a very very good idea!

agree 👍🏼  -matching airport layout incl elevations and beacon locations would be a plus in order to have one airport chart serving both maps

Actually if it is to be used as campaign continuity, then it has to be the same full airbase. If you are willing to implement it, then do it full throttle.

If I have a mission in Syria map, I land at the Ramat David for example, I park the jet and I will use the trigger to load next mission. The next mission though will be in Sinai map, and I will start at the same parking spot I ended previous mission at.

Maybe UM devs would be willing to cooperate in assets sharing?

I just want to point out that the next mission doesn't have to start from the same parking spot. If anything the jet might get moved around for maintenance/servicing etc between missions. It would be cool to be able to seamlessly pick up from the exact position between missions, but I don't think it's necessary. Also I think I'd much rather have a slightly different airbase if it came with improvements. For example, on Syria many parking spaces are too small for even mid sized fighters and some airbases have very little parking spaces. I am very willing to give up 1:1 identical bases if the Sinai map has more/better parking for instance.
