ac5 Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 Prior to stable 2.8 on the box in the upper right of the cockpit did appear the message “shoot”, and it would blink when the target plane would be in “non escape” range. The message “shoot” would also appear on the HUD if I remember correctly. Now it is not any more so, no matter what the situation is or how big, far or near the target plane is. Why? Also, the A-A radar looses the lock of the target plane quite often, no matter what the situation is or how big, far or near the target plane is. Tholozor Posted January 24, 2023 Posted January 24, 2023 (edited) IIRC the shoot cue will come up when the steering dot is inside the ASE circle and the target is inside Rmax, need to double-check. And the steering dot is still bugged currently so that's likely why you're not getting it inside the ASE circle so no shoot cues on HUD or eyebrow.
