Well flown, great job! Nice results too.

A few debrief points:

- During the LANTIRN you took too long to break after Paco called abeam after the spacer pass. It's called a spacer pass to establish the proper distance in the pattern. So when Paco called off, you were still nowhere near the turn in point.

- Some patterns (CCIP, strafe, LANTIRN) are circular, you gotta watch your HSI to maintain the proper distance.

- Also, be a little more aggressive to get on those numbers (speed & altitude). If the pattern altitude is 15k, break hard and up to get there, don't climb at a shallow angle to 'eventually' get there. You're flying the most powerful fighter jet in the world 😉

- During the low pops you flew the spacer pass on 2-6-0, but you flew downwind on 0-9-0 or even 1-0-0, so not parallel.  So when you turned in hot, you had the mountains obstructing your way, instead of turning in to that little gap between them that Paco used for the run-in.

- You should have taxied back to where you started from but it doesn't really matter, you only missed the ground comms.

And now, on to the air to air part! 🙂

Combination of new GFX card and MT, re-flew this mission.

Hardware does make a difference! 🙂  Now if I could only decide on a new CPU-MoBo combo. Totally out of the loop, so lots of prior research necessary.

For some reason I still keep fudging up the initial combined climb and break turn in the LANTIRN set. One of the metrics (altitude, speed, distance to target) is always somewhat off, incidentally not always the same one. 🤷‍♂️
