was flying the Mi24 a bit and i am having a problem trimming

i have a standard joystick setup (virpil gunfighter wih CM2 base)

i have my special game options to set the cyclic for Centralized Trimming

i would move my joysick physically to a new position, press trim, and release the the joystick , but then the show control indicate brings the position off center, 100% of the time to the right and down.

and during flight sometime the joystick starts to do weird behavior moving on its own

i also made sure that nothing else was mapped to the cyclic roll and pitch, and it is only mapped to my virpril gunfighter stick

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

Turn off control helper, it is interfering with your inputs

Is that setting like rudder assist in a warbird? Suppose to help, but you end up fighting it.

I wish we had an option to disable that thing centrally throughout all the modules because I doubt that helper ever helped anyone. For me as hard as I-16 and Bf.109 are on take-off and landing they're at least predictable with the helper disabled. Even more embarrassing is the fact that the Hind's own autopilot tends to do a much better job at this.
