NeedzWD40 Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 A couple of the fixes indicated in today's patch log don't seem to have taken effect: - Standby horizon "OFF" flag is still red. - M151 PD rockets have no ballistic calculation change. I haven't been able to check the multicrew but most of the other fixes like FCR weight and HMD boresight seem to be present.

This was fixed initially, but in the process of updating it for the rest of the rocket types, it needed to be addressed again. For now, limit rocket shots to 4-5km. Fortunately, this has already been fixed internally, but wasn't ready in time for this week's update. As for the red flag on the SAI, maybe try a slow repair after removing all mods that are installed, if any. 4 Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man. NeedzWD40 Posted March 10, 2023 Author Posted March 10, 2023 No mods in place and used both repair types, flag remains as in the above screenshot. Good to know that the rocket fix note is in error; will remember to apply Kentucky elevation tables going forward.

fabio.dangelo Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 After the update if I launch DCS normally starts the classic single thread version and I work everything. If I launch the MT executable in monitor mode everything works in VR ONLY the Apache send in CDT. In the LOG I read errors on OpenXR and that does not find Apache’s asset but I do not understand why OpenXR error does not happen on other means or find everything and goes smoothly the Apache in monitor and in VR single thread. I tried a quick repair but it didn't fix anything... Recommendations?

NeedzWD40 Posted March 11, 2023 Author Posted March 11, 2023 After a system reboot, the flag shifted to yellow, so I'm not sure if I had a cache problem or what. The game was updated since I had the new MT exe and ran it with others in multiplayer.
Poptart Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 The multithreading is SOOO good. I have a very good GPU but an old i7 so the frame rate increase is pretty dramatic. I was at 60-70 frames on my test mission before and I'm at 100+ now. Motion blur is broken and there are some problems with depth of field in third person but otherwise it works great.
