Novan Posted March 11, 2023 Posted March 11, 2023 When setting up the tanker, especially the recovery tanker it would be nice to be able to limit how much fuel the tanker will give each plane. For example one Tomcat taking on fuel while in the holding pattern completely drains the S-3 when all it needed was a thousand pounds of fuel to keep from crashing before landing. 9
ia_pro1691 Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 Bumping this. I think additional options within the “refueling” advanced waypoint action would be the best here. Would also be nice to have an F10 option for clients to request set amounts of fuel, say 2,000 lbs, 4,000 lbs, 8,000 lbs and topped off. 5 DCS VFA-41 Black Aces
QuiGon Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Yeah, this would be really nice to have! 2 Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
AG-51_Razor Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 Absolutely agree with these comments! [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
afnav130 Posted January 24, 2024 Posted January 24, 2024 1000 percent agree on this as well. It is a much needed feature. In the 16, you can put the bingo stuff in the HUD. In the F15E, you have to look down and to the left to see the totalizer and that can take some focus off of the fuel unless you have a WSO. When you call the tanker up, you select and amount in thousands of pounds.
norman99 Posted January 25, 2024 Posted January 25, 2024 This is actually more important for AI wingmen/flights. Especially when using the S-3 as mentioned above.
Jself Posted February 23, 2024 Posted February 23, 2024 Setting the tankers to unlimited fuel will stop them from running dry, but I totally agree a cap would be very nice and would allow mission makers a better ability to force players to manage their.
