The second info belongs to all C/D Models. So all versions with 0 at the end have the GE enginge, with 2 its the PW enginge. 20/25, 30/32, 40/42 and so on. At A/B Models i am not sure.. guess they where a single engine type only..

By the way, did you ever hear this one:
"If it says Pratt & Whitney on the engine, it had better say Martin Baker on the seat"

No never heard, what does it mean?

It doesn’t technically hold true for 20 and 25. 25 was the first C in 1984 and predated GE engines. 20 was used retroactively for F-16A sold to Taiwan in the 90s. Unlike other MLU aircraft these where new build aircraft and where structurally more similarly to a Block 32 but with an F-16A small tail.

I see, thank you! But what does MLU mean?

Does anybody knows, if the F16CM bl. 50 (DCS Version) CFT (Conformal Fuel Tanks) has? I saw an article which describes, that the F16C/D Block 50/52 Plus these has. But the „Plus“ version is invented earlier, isn‘t it?

No, the US Block 50s don't have CFTs. Export Block 52s do. As a general rule, the blocks with the PW engine are much more widely exported, while the Vipers with GE engines are for domestic use. We have a US Viper.

At least, there is not really any thing on western hemisphere that can`t be found on a F-16 anywhere 🤪 I would guess that there is nearly any possible version existing in RL somewhere out there. Nearly all kinds of weapons can be carried (okay, GBU-28 would maybe not really be the first choice) and will be somewhere.

The version in DCS "should" be a singel version taht was used by a single unit in a special time. They chenged the real loadouts already (4 HARM`s now possible, don´t know if still usabel, but it has been some time ago), so maybe it will get more other useful stuff in future too 😄😄 If there come GBU-39 (also uses for example in the RNlAF) I would be very happy 🙂

Yes, I think the GBU-39 would be very nice . Do you think they make all of the systems intern of the F16? I mean the systems at the moment are not really finished. I know they are making the DTE/DTC, but there are some systems left.

We've got a National Guard F-16 circa 2005. We can load 4xHARMs because some units that flew this specific jet chose to wire their pylons up for this. I doubt we'll get the SDB, they came to the Viper at a fairly late date. That'd require a Viper model for the similar timeframe as A-10C2, and I'm not sure if that info is out there.

It would be very nice but its not very realistic

Well, Pratt & Whitney makes engines, and Martin Baker makes ejection seats. I guess y'all can figure it out on your own now.

Yes, I watched the Video
