So i get the comms check in on startup, but nothing after that. I get the text messages for Chaff/Flare and Fence In, but no voice at all. I have checked I am on the correct frequency and that all appears ok.

Ok so just ran it again. Looks like on initial departure even though I am supposed to call on Strike, they are actually on Comm1 Channel 1. Also for marshal on return the frequency doesn't match. I have also noticed that the Comm 1 and Comm 2 Kneeboard freqs for Marshall also don't match. I managed to finish the mission, but a little frustrating.

I didn't touch anything with the mission and the comms used to always work fine there. I'll have a look.

@DMousetook me a while, but checked it. As to the initial departure, it should be on Comm1 as is - you are asked to switch to Strike only at the RDV point, all looks OK to me.
You are right about the kneeboard and frequencies not matching, fixed - thanks for reporting!

@baltic_dragon There now seems to be a different comms bug in  Mission 7;

after you splash the helo, i dont get any comms, from 1-3  so i join him in orbit a=over the fleet until after about an hour and 20  mins of total game time, he speeds off to go and RV with the tanker,  at which point he sits on the tanker for about 20 mins i am down to about 600 lbs at this stage so i persuade him to leave the tanker (20 mike mike), i was fairly sure something was broken at this stage) and when he crashes coms start to resume ...

also note the carrier is moving very slowly ...  like 10 knots or something..

Hello, I just played this mission, and it stops at the same point.

I saw Raven 1 and 2 can´t land on the carrier. Always waveoff and going around. Maybe a new F-18 bug?

as i said the carrier is going awfully slowly ...  i would take forever to get to the fan tail ,  so i it was causing me difficulty turning in ..

Hey BD, hope the HQ build is going well, any update on this, I just replayed, same behaviour, i guess that shouldnt be a shock 🙂 , i followed Raven 11 and Raven 12 in the pattern, and they are badly screwed up on their approach, 30-40 degrees right of the angle ... which i think is the speed of the boat, anyway hope all is well!

I have this reported, but had no time top fix it yet - hope to do it in the next few days. Definitely some new bug  / problem in core game introduced with an update. I'll try to increase the speed of the carrier, but as I am away from my gaming rig until early September I won't be able to test anything...

Having this same issue… Almost ran out of fuel waiting on SLUGGO and LITTLE NICKY to land before CAP would launch.  No call to RTB until CAP is airborne.
