I know this has been reported before but...

I have just been experimenting with the ME and trains and despite the fact they add a certain eye-candy to the landscape / animation the are almost impossible ti control / interact with.

AI do not seem to 'see' them, AI will not attack them, trains will not trigger an action when entering a zone, they ignore waypoint commands, they ignore speed commands in fact the only thing that I have been able to do is bomb them from a player controlled aircraft.

Now I realise that these points will be very low on the ED radar but I wonder how easy or difficult it would be to address some / any of them?

Good to note that sometimes bugs DO get fixed!  My post re. TRAINS last March highlighted problems with trains and useful integration in a mission, all of my points now seem to have been addressed so a BIG thank you to the ED team!

At mission start the TRAIN is set to invisible - as it hits the trigger zone ARMOR 1 & 2 and ARMOR 3 & 4 are activated as is the signal smoke - ARMOR 1 & 2 don't fire on the TRAIN because it is invisible.  When the TRAIN passes through WP 1 invisibility is cancelled and ARMOR 1 & 2 fire on the TRAIN

Speed does not seem to be able to be varied (other than stopping at a given WP)
