As the title says, my dcs ingame setting are good and I manage to have steady 40fps in the ST ah-64 Syria maps Ramp hot start (with f-16 taking off and all.). But If I play the game in the MT version, I can't even read the text, letter, quadrant. Everything is shimmering and blurry.

Could someone share me their Openxr setting? I guess that's something to do with openxr.

I use OTT with an RTX 3070TI, I5-9600K, 32RAM and the game is on a NVmE drive.

I just found that if you disable openxr in the registry then you gain (or at least I did) 10-15 fps and it’s way more stable on oculus runtime. There’sa thread here about it.

Thanks, I’ll try that after work. But I’m not sure it will solve the problem, maybe a part of it. Even in the main menu I can barelly read the option on the right side, the small text in the bottom is unreadable…

I'm a Rift S user and here's what I've done with OpenXR Toolkit for MT. Sorry no screenshot. But I use the Apache Syria hot start as a benchmark and have it performing pretty decent in MT. I haven't tried forcing it to use Oculus API yet to see what effect that has, but in hangar menu with OpenXR it stutters and glitches like mad. If I look about, the image follows me (like VR is a monitor) then snaps to where it should be. Once in the pit, it's pretty decent

So you put OTT ss at 1.0 and ingame PD to 1.0?

Yes, just made my res settings in OXR toolkit and left OTT running but set to apply ASW 45Hz

Alright I did the same as you, and after a game restart it looks as it should be, just like in ST! DCS should put a guide to set openxr properly... but that's another story. I would have think that put ss=1.0 would look bad but I can barely see any difference between that and 1.7... anyway, thanks again!

Same thing here, but with a hp reverb. ST works better than MT and SteamVr Openxr works better than native Openxr.

Sorry I can’t say for the G2… but I know a lot of guys who tweak some setting, like 75% upscaling and 40% sharpeness.

Sorry, I mistranslated your post, my problem is that there is better performance in st than in mt.

Just to add, I have now enabled Turbo Mode in OpenXr and the strange stuttering and 'head following' and snapping of the view when moving head in MT is gone. I can still enable ASW using Ctrl+F3 and it's all fine. Though I found it's not needed as I'm hitting 80fps or near as now in most scenarios

I’ve got a rift s and 4090. You mind posting your ott settings, nvcp, dcs, and openxrtk?

That's the solution to remove the stutter but don't you have little vertical black borders (left and right at the edge of your view) that flicker when you move your head rapidly?

Bit off-topic but on Rift-S: guess my Rift-S went to heaven, 2 days ago it came with a detection problem, since then the blue led on the front doesn't come on and i can't get past the sensor check. Tried about everthing i could find...
