As it is now, DCS sometimes use more than 50GB of memory, depending on graphcis settings, terrain, flown aircraft and whether it's a SP or MP session.

The pagefile size is displayed at the beginning of your log file. Add your pagefile size to your RAM: if it's lower than 50 GB, you have three choices:

  • Buy more RAM (better choice, but it costs money). 64GB of RAM is enough for now.
  • Boost your pagefile size (instant gain as long as your pagefile is stored on a fast drive with enough free space). Since you have 32GB of RAM, try a 32GB pagefile.
  • Lower your graphcis settings (preload radius, shadows quality, water quality...).
  • Thanks 1

Well, it seems that after latest update, something went wrong.
When MT appeared it was really good but after update, I have really long loading / lack of loading or if it loaded, really often a big fps loss after a few minutes but not always.
It's on clean DCS with no mods and I've even checked every settings for a few hours, turned almost everything off and it was appearing too except fps loss which was difficult to claim.

I definetly was able to get through a MP mission with 32 players on DDCS with my page file set. It will do for now until I get a new MB/CPU/RAM combo. I just got the 3080 so stepping everything up to this level is a big step in RAM consumption. Thanks for the help Flappie! It was still hitched a bit, but that could be because it's an older Samsung SSD. RAM will definetly be the soultion moving forward.
