The classic example is the trim hat - it is shaped and positioned to be a 4-way, when you make it 5 way it is easy to get an inadvertent push. If it was intended to be a 5-way it would be shaped and positioned differently.

Disabling the push just means that sometimes you get nothing instead of the input you wanted rather than getting whatever push is bound to instead of the input you wanted. Not an improvement at all since you could just not bind it.

The only fix is to very deliberately not use the hat how it was intended - pushing on the sides of it rather than resting your thumb on top.

Came here to ask the same question. I ordered it at half 7 on the 20th October from the UK store having recently managed to resolve an issue with my CM3 base that i've had for a year and get back in the Apache i'm now more keen to get this grip.

No, I did not order the extension plate, but got Counter-Balance Upgrade Kit. I think it will be fine since with ka-50 it set as close as possible to my table. I'll test it soon today

I've been looking into this one myself. Would you mind sending me or posting a couple of pictures once you get the Apache Collective set up please? I'm also saving for the Apache MPD's so be interesting to see how you've got those mounted too.

I‘m personally very happy with the NLR Pro rig. It offers a lot of mounting possibilities for your flightsim hardware. And if you are willing to do some DIY you can enhance even more. You should note it is made of metal not aluminium, so it‘s a heavy piece.

I just have to see how I will add the virpil collective, but I‘m sure I‘ll find a solution and will provide you some pictures.

In the meantime this is how it actually looks…..
