CaliJoshua Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 I know it sounds crazy, but my RWR volume is so low I can hardly hear it. This problem started before a reformat that was long overdue for many reasons. Since the fresh reformat, the problem persists. I am using An Arctic Nova Pro Headset in case that could be a cause. I have a volume axis assigned to a peripheral and I verify in the cockpit that the nob is all the way to the plus sign. I have messed with the sound volumes in the options and the only thing that helps a little is checking “Hear Like in Helmet.” I can hear the AI when I call for AAR and I can hear the RALT warning when I go below the set altitude. Any advice on this would be fantastic as I need the audio warning so I don’t blow up lol.

Tholozor Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 Is all your DCS audio routed to the same device, or do you use a separate device set to 'Headphones' for helmet audio? 1 REAPER 51 | Tholozor VFA-136 (c.2007): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3305981/ Arleigh Burke Destroyer Pack (2020): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313752/
Czar66 Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 Check "Hear like in helmet" option in 'sounds' if it is unchecked. Perhaps your audio setup was set for that option to be turned on and it is off. 1
SickSidewinder9 Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 Oh god, please don't make it louder. Already have to turn it down in the Viper.
