Just bought the Anton as I fly online mostly and VR .

Still Testing,  one thing I noticed is it's seems underpowered .

Books and documents suggest this was fast at sea level. 600kmph.

Anyone got good info.

The Anton with 1,42 ATA engine wasn't capable to reach 600kph. Speed around 550kph at sea levet is correct for it.

DCS clean Anton with closed coolant flaps reaches slightly above 540kph, it is not so bad.

The Anton with bomb rack and open coolant flaps will lose around 30kph from maximal speed, 10+kph for each.

I like it. In fact, I think because it is underpowered make you become a better pilot. I have killed Spitfires, Jugs, P-51s in multiplayer on 4YA servers. The only problem with it is the range. You have to be very fuel conscious to stay up in the order of 1hr-1hr.30mins. It just guzzles gas.

I prefer its silhouette to that of the Mustang and the Spitfire. The flaps are electric, the gears are lockable with the stick no need to remember like the 109. It also has a lot of ground pounding toys and the Br21 Werfergranate.

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.
