Is there some different how to activate S-5 and S-8 rockets? Several path ago was added the launcher arm button function so i press it before i want to use rockets.  I do exact same start up sequence, S-8 rockets work fine , but S-5 won't launch.  What do i miss?

If you check new loadout restrictions, you cannot fire S-5 with inboard ATGM loadout. The system thinks UB-32 is a bomb, and bombs don’t work either with inboard ATGM.

Rocket arm button only resets rocket controller to re start at first rocket in pod

even more stupid is aplicate it in to the game.

It's not only a game, it's a simulator.

The same thing happens with the Viggen, for instance: you cannot use Rb-05 and Rb-75 during the same flight.

Real-life limitation.

It's not stupid, it's necessary, because of how the helo is designed. The armament systems on the Mi-24 are analog, each of them requires dedicated wiring. Some combinations are not wired, and some others are problematic for other reasons, such as risk of collision between the bomb and a gunpod, for instance. Those limitations are part of the wiring design.

DCS is a simulator, which means we get to deal with the same limitations real pilots do.

The Ka-50 lifespan was short. It was a parenthesis. For economical reasons, a very small number of aircraft were made, and they were operated by one nation. However, ED had the opportunity to make its first DCS module out of it, and went for it. Then the Ka-50 module got all the love it deserved, probably because it is a very special, one-of-a-kind aircraft, and also the first high-fidelity and clickable DCS aircraft. I guess we can say the Ka-50 flew way more hours in DCS than in real life. The real life project was abandoned, and ED kind of "adopted" it, and so did their customers.

So this is how I see BS3: it shows what Kamov projected to do before the project was halted for good. It's clearly an uchronia, which makes it a very special extension for an already very special module.

On the other hand, the Hind was made a long time ago, it's been exported to many countries, it has had many variants, and as you may know, it is still used in combat to this day. ED made one variant, the -P. For most customers, uchronia is not welcome here.
