How to drop the external tank in this early P47

I have just finished the first mission. After the external tank got empty I tried to release it. Could not do that. At the back left side are some handles which seem to be two for each station. I tried the middle in all possible way together with pressing the stick button nothing helped.

There are some handles you need to pull on the left hand side. Check out my P-47 tutorial, you’re gonna need it to make it through the campaign.

On the far left, pull the Arm and then the Release handle for the belly tank.
