Whatever happened to being able to take command of the carrier?

I remember reading a little while ago that one of the product features of the Supercarrier was the ability for players to take command of the ship (ie set course and heading, speed etc).

Anyone know if it’s still planned?

Was it? Maybe it's part of the CA integration.

Is that not possible? Thought you could do it already with other ships using CA, but havent tried that in a while.

I sorta kinda recall something about it mentioned "down the road" post ready room. But i'd assume brainstorming and not concrete plan.
