krazyj Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 Hi ED, Just thinking as most of the manuals are released early on in the development process it is only natural that things change and gets updated in the build process. Would it be possible to include revision status in all of the manuals for each aircraft as well as a line in the margin of the areas updated or added as is done in real aviation manuals. TIA Krazyj 2
SharpeXB Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 Some of them list the updated sections and dates. But yeah this should be a universal feature. i9-14900KS | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | 64GB DDR5 5600MHz | iCUE H150i Liquid CPU Cooler | ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4090 OC | Windows 11 Home | 2TB Samsung 980 PRO NVMe | Corsair RM1000x | LG 48GQ900-B 4K OLED Monitor | CH Fighterstick | Ch Pro Throttle | CH Pro Pedals | TrackIR 5

florate Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 Updates for DCS and 3rd party manuals are harder to keep up with than they need to be. If cockpit procedures change when new or modified systems for the particular module is added, it's easy to identify a bug when, in reality the procedure has changed. Would be helpful to include user manual updates with module updates when appropriate.
