How to recover from a failed APU start (because of manually shutting it of while starting)

Title says it already. 

• Battery power on
• APU on
• APU off before fully started (by clicking it's button again)
• APU never switches on again.

How to correctly recover from that?

It looks like you drained your battery.

I tried it a couple of times until I got to the point where it wouldn't spool up at all.

I also did a fresh test, where I started the APU, turned it off mid-start and was able to just start it back up.

Try connecting ground power

Assuming it is correctly implemented, already:

Wait 30 seconds before starting the APU a second time, after the compressor has spooled down. If the second attempt fails wait 20 minutes, no more than three failed attempts.

I need to resurrect this thread, cause it deals with what I have currently trouble with.

Please find a trk attached (worked for me as intended during replay).

After aborting APU startup, I was not able to restart APU correctly again (even with ground power attached).

Waited 30 seconds, started the APU, front panel showed APU starting and APU power on, I could hear the sound the light on the APU button was not lit. So for me there is no way to restart APU after aborted startup.

Feel free to correct my actions which are shown in the track.
