RWR alerts won’t stop (still present)

Tried stopping the alerts by using the push button on left console. It will not cancel or stop the aural alert. I had to turn off the RWR to stop getting false positive alerts.

 

Note:  After patch in end of July 2023, this bug is still present.

VW silence does not work for RWR tones.  This is correct as is.

Volume knobs. Currently not implemented on release build I do not believe

To clarify, are you saying that the RWR symbol and tone was false. As in, staying active after death?  Then yes, bug, please post track if you have one.

I get this too. If you get locked once the RWR is still beeping even when there is no threat anymore. Is there a way to reset it? only way for beeping to go away is to turn it off and on again

I had the sam issue earlier, was in a dogfight with a Mirage F1 and after shooting it down i got constant "AI" alert and it never stopped even after i landed.

This issue is kinda ruining my fun with this plane in multiplayer right now.

If I could at least turn down the volume of the RWR sounds, but the volume knobs don't seem to do anything.

Got the same issue. No more threat but still beeping. Turning RWR off and on again will shut it up until you get locked once again.

I can't use the module cause the tews/rwr sounds drives me nuts, they are so loud. So get that volume knob work ASAP.

I don't mess with that cause then i have to adjust it every time i change aircraft, need to listen to afterburners and other sounds. Well i hope they fix it in the next update. I'll just fly something else, have lots to choose from.

This is still a problem.  I find a stop-gap solution is to hop in WSO station and cycle the RWR.  However, after being tracked by enemy emitter again will cause the audio and annunciation to trigger and not go away after enemy stops tracking.

Yes, and not only, threats from the air and ground too, even yours, so not enemy only, however sometimes is ok, I have no idea what it depends on.

This is a funny one - I only get it when I am flying the jet solo. If I have a human WSO, then this bug never occurs for me. That would lead me towards the conclusion it is something to do with the new RWR sync code.
