DCS Fails to launch post recent update (June 2023)

I run DCS open beta. Both ST and MT .exe fail to launch DCs post yesterdays update. Upon executing a start, apart from the cursor timer showing for a few seconds, nothing occurs. I don’t even get the small DCS window that opens as the game begins to load. I’ve tried launching from both desktop shortcuts and directly from the .exe within the bin-file.
 

I’ve undertaken a full repair, to no avail.

Windows 11, NVIDIA GTX 3080, 13th gen i7-13700kf, 32 GB RAM, OpenXR

Anyone able to assist? DCS won’t start in either 2D or VR.

Hi. Try this:

1. Browse to "Saved Games/DCS.openbeta/Config".
2. Rename your "options.lua" file to "options.lua.bak".
3. Test DCS.
4. If this doesn't change anything, rename your whole "DCS.openbeta" folder to "DCS.openbeta.bak" (you will need this backup folder - do NOT delete it).
5. Test DCS. It will ask for your credentials and you will have default bindings. This is normal, and I will tell you how to get your custom keybinds back.
6. Still no joy? Then run a DCS cleanup and repair.

Reinstall? Some settings may have changed etc

@Rabies  Check if DCS starts fine with "pancake" (2d) mode.

if it fails, try uninstalling/reinstalling your GPU driver.

I have tried that, and now have resorted to a new install. DCS is still not launching, even in pancake mode.

You should open a support ticket. Log into DCS website, click "Support", then click "Create a new ticket".
