Terzi Posted June 24, 2023 Posted June 24, 2023 Hello, I am a VR user I remember seeing other F-16 player's aircraft watching during taxi, takeoff and landings. The nozzle movements used to be visible. Now it is constant position in all non-ab states. Has something changed? If yes can you bring it back? If I watch my own aircraft everything looks flawless. Also I would like to note that control surface movements of other players are lagging and wheels of other AC are seen rolling during TO and Landings. I mean when he puts his gear down wheels are turning already. 1
ACS_Dev Posted July 2, 2023 Posted July 2, 2023 I experienced the nozzle desync as well last week with another guy in an F-16. Clean IC, recent repair. Very annoying if you are trying to larp as a crew chief or just trying to teach someone SEC and EPU checks. 2 "Got a source for that claim?" Too busy learning the F-16 to fly it, Too busy making missions to play them Callsign: "NoGo" "Because he's always working in the editor/coding something and he never actually flies" - frustrated buddy Main PC: Ryzen 5 5600X, Radeon 6900XT, 32GB DDR4-3000, All the SSDs. Nealius Posted July 5, 2023 Posted July 5, 2023 +1 needs to be addressed. Noticing nozzle movements can be useful for proactive throttle adjustments when flying formation. 2
Terzi Posted September 21, 2023 Author Posted September 21, 2023 Watch from 24:50 the nozzles of the first 2 jets departing to see the issue. 2
Terzi Posted December 12, 2023 Author Posted December 12, 2023 Nozzle and control surface and nozzle movements were much fluid in the past. If this is taken away for optimization issues, I would advise that you only limit this when the user or server has resource problems. If I and the server and all others have good connection, why should we experience limitation on this? It makes videos look much worse and I really enjoy watching others from external views. 1

Yeah, animations and netcode have gotten substantially worse. I remember watching butter smooth landings in the past and now almost every jet sinks into the ground on touchdown. 1

Yes exactly I love watching landings and those control surface movements but they are gone for now. I hope they consider bringing it back for near cameras at least. 1
AlexCaboose Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 I miss seeing these accurately, and as it currently stands, Mudhen drivers don't see our jets in SEC as we taxi past. 1 476th vFG Website, 476th vFG Discord, 476th vFG Pipeline
Nealius Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 Netcode animations are so bad that even on a dedicated server on the same machine with 1ms latency they’re choppy, aircraft clip into objects, etc. 3
