When hot-start from runway, all volume is good. But when cold-start, ATC sounded very very soft, even though all volume knobs had been tuned to max. Ground controller volume came through just fine though.

You have to move the first smaller knob on the left and move it max clockwise, the position on cold and dark is muted.

I confirm that all volume knobs were ramped up to max, but ATC still very soft. Ground comm was fine though.

When hot-start from runway, all volumes are okay.

Did you contact some distant ATC by any chance? Radio signal strenght is modeled in DCS.

Please do a short cold start, contact ATC, end the mission and save a track to upload here.

My apology ... I mixed up the volume knobs on the left panel and those on the UFC. With that on the UFC turned up, I can hear ATC fine now.

But strange that Ground volume still comes through just fine, but not the ATC, when the UFC knob is not turned up.

Or Is Ground coming through via the Mic switch to ON ?
