Origin of acceleration cue should determined by ground speed not air speed

The acceleration cue should originate from LOS reticle when the velocity vector is saturated beyond the maximum scale.

However when I was tring to hover with some wind, I noticed the acceleration cue shifted its origin before the velocity vector reaches the maximum scale.

I assume the acceleration cue misused air speed to determine if velocity vector is saturated, which indicating ground speed. With wind exist, air speed is beyond 6kt while ground speed is not.

It can easily observed in the runway start quick mission.

I noticed this today as well when in a hover with >6kt winds. The circle was centered in my LOS reticle but the acceleration cue line was originating from some space outside and around the LOS reticle going towards the circle. I had to ignore the symbology completely and use visual cues to maintain my hover.

This was only in the hover symbology mode, though. In the other symbology mode that shows acceleration cue (forgot the name) I didn't see this behavior.

Hi @nyanrata

I have raised this for internal analysis.

Even though I was able to reproduce this, it's good practice to include a small track of the issue to allow us to review the bug and your operation.

Thanks.
