Orwell Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 What's the best way to backup my install folder so I don't have to download every module again?
razo+r Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 (edited) Upload it to a cloud service or a backup drive if you have one. Though the most important thing to save would be the folder in the saved games folder that holds all your key mappings, not the modules themself. Edited August 19, 2023 by razo+r 2
Eaglewings Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 Simple. Like razor+ has said. If you have an extra hard drive, you backup dcs main installed folder (E.g Eagle Dynamics /Openbeta or Stable as the case msyvbe) and importantly your saved game folder for dcs. When done with the hard drive formatting, you just copy back these two backed up folder and you are good to go from there.
