I would like to see in DCS a Vietnam variant of Mig-21. PF or PFM. I understand is easier make a Mig-17 due the many units in private hands so the information for Mig-17 is wider spread. So probably we get close to a Mig-21PF as next project? I hope Red Star team get success in the current Mig-17 project. I can't wait for that first day purchase.

And maybe the 21FL, which was the first version with the big tail, but still without SPS and a fixed gun (GP9 gunpod-capable, though).

The FL also (later on) got the additional outboard wing-stations.

Do the F-13!!!!

Yes, MiG-21F-13 was the best, the most maneuverable, bubble canopy with good visibility and without the front frame, internal gun, no radar but radio rangefinder, the most distinct MiG-21 variant, it was used in Vietnam.

My views on variant modules are simple, while I would prefer to see the developers work on new vehicle (aircraft, tanks, ships anything really)  modules, maps and assets I really don't have problems with variant modules but as I have stated before I would love to see ED set up something were a developer interested in a variant module could license existing code from other developers and offered a bundle package where you get a discount based on the amount of shared code.    The MiG-21 though is definitely a good multi-module candidate
