Any solution for alternating throttle bases quickly ?

I own a few Orion1 and Orion2 throttle bases. I like alternating them in my cockpit depending on the plane I fly. that being said, using the screw isnt the fastest way to do it.

has somebody though of a method or system for quick attachement  already ?

This.

Since you usually don‘t put much lateral force on a throttle (compared to a stick), verlcro is absolutely sufficient.
I can also recommend 3M Dual lock…it‘s similar to velcro but connects and releases with more of a „click“ rather than ripping it apart. That‘s what I use and I also swap between the F/A-18 and F-16 throttle.

EDIT: A word of warning!: Don‘t use too much of it! A thumbnail sized piece at each corner is enough!!! Otherwise you won‘t get it off again.

Oh, I believe it's similar to what I use, but not 3M. "Both sides" are equal with loops only, right? I've run out. Gotta check out the 3M version. I can highly recommend it!

And if you are looking for something more sturdy then QR4rigs is a great solution. I use their mount for pedals and sticks but I’m sure you can use it for throttle too

dang, I bought some dual lock (didnt know it before) and that <profanity> is awesome. I work in the town in which velcro was invented, but this is definately a step forward. there is NO play like in velcro. its rock solid!

its soooo good i would considering it for swapping my center stick as well.

So basically I screwed an aluminum/polymer sheet to my wooden cockpit (aker barnes) side console, and than taped bands of dual lock transversally to it.

then I put a square inch on each corner of each of my throttle bases, and it worked like a charm !

totally awesome !

thanks for the tip !

Monstertech have introduced a sliding rail solution that looks interesting.  I’m guessing that there is a cheaper way to achieve that DIY
