after using LALT+C to switch between mouse pointer and mouse look, it will switch but mouse will not pan around the cockpit. i have checked to see if it was a saved games issue by renaming the file to "BACKUP_DCSOpenbeta" and running a slow repair to have DCS instate its own in Saved games. after the repair as well as the new folder, it still does not allow me to pan in the cockpit after switching the mouse pointer to the pan option. i have reset the default bindings of the mouse in the controls setup and still no joy. i run a Ryzen 9 5900x, nvidea 4090, 2tb samsung 980, 128GB RAM, Winwing orion2 PTO, virpil CM3/constilation prime/ throttle assembly/ thrustmaster TPR's, streamdeck, valve index VR. i have unplugged all these peripherals with the exception of keyboard and mouse to ensure there were no hardware conflicts and it still does not work.

I don't see it listed, but do you maybe have some sort of "TrackIR" headtracking solution?

What I've come to understand is that while "TrackIR" headtracking software is active, you cannot use mouse (after LALT+C) to pan around the cockpit. Only after disabling that software (TrackIR, Opentrack, FaceTrackNoIR, ...) the panning using the mouse work.

It's been a while since I used VR, but maybe the same thing is happening while VR tracking is active?

Did you try middle button double-click? In most modules it changes between pan view and cursor. In F-14 it's the camera position vs cursor and in camera position mode single middle button click will change to pan view.

In VR view/position tracking is always on and mouse is for cursor only.
