It's the rotation angle that was set for the helipad by the mission maker. It makes it so that you can get the correct runway heading from the reference code. Only requirement is that the mission maker has rotate the unit so it aligns with the runway. The default rotation is 0, pointing directly north. Not sure why it's not 0.0 though, but I guess it's close enough.. Viggen is love. Viggen is life. 7800X3D | RTX 4070 Ti S | 64GB 6000MHz RAM |
TOViper Posted October 17, 2023 Posted October 17, 2023 (edited) Hm, maybe its the difference between magnetic and true North (in radians)? Or just some MBVFMUS (math bullshidd value for maximum user confusion). I guess that's just the actual heading that the guy who made the mission this screenshot is from set in the mission editor for the helipad. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
TOViper Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 Is this value calculated within a .lua script outside of hidden code or by the DLL itself? If its a lua, maybe its worth looking into it and correct it by rounding this radian value (if it is) to whole numbers? On one of the 4YA multiplayer servers all their road bases have the same incorrect heading, and I think it's this value. "Subsonic is below Mach 1, supersonic is up to Mach 5. Above Mach 5 is hypersonic. And reentry from space, well, that's like Mach a lot."
