Datalink FARM - gives me XMIT NAK

I Have setup the Datalink according to Wags video.

I can ask for my wingmans PP (present position) and have it shown on the TSD via datalink.

But asking for FARM just gives me XMIT NAK.

So the AH-64D Datalink is mostly for MP or how ?

Functionality seems quite limited with AI wingmen

I have only got the "Request PP" to work until now.

The AI use of the datalink is not fully implemented at this time. The use of the datalink requires each aircraft to be on the same preset network and on the same radio frequency. The AI do not dynamically change their presets to match the player's.

Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man.

Which features of the DL are currently available for interaction with the AI? I didn't find any yet.

PP is the only one that works for me currently.

That's really sad. Adding the functionality to send my Fire Zones to the AI wingmen would be a great addition.

Currently it isn't possible to coordinate a simultaneously attack of a target area with the AI wingmen. Either I have to shoot first and the wingmen have to wait or vice versa, otherwise there is a high risk that me and my wingmen attack the same target.

I agree, but the AI helicopter logic in general needs a massive overhaul. Given the complexity of the undertaking, I'm not sure if we can expect a specific overhaul of AI AH-64 logic any time in the near future.

IDK. I often get "XMIT NAK", but the other end receives, even if they're the only ones in my NET list. It seems fairly consistent whether you get NAK or no message, but I haven't found out what causes it to go either way. Whenever I tried reproducing it, it behaves as expected.
