Sprool Posted October 26, 2023 Posted October 26, 2023 Is it possible to set up 2 separate shortcuts for dcs.exe (MT) - one that recalls all my settings for VR flight and one for 2D flat screen flight? 1
draconus Posted October 26, 2023 Posted October 26, 2023 Yes, you'd have to use two shortcuts: /bin-mt/dcs.exe -w VRprofilename /bin-mt/dcs.exe -w 2Dprofilename Profile names are DCS folders created in \saved games\ with their own separate configs, logs, mission folders, whatever. Or just use SkateZilla's app: 1 1 Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX4070S Quest 3 T16000M VPC CDT-VMAX TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria
Sprool Posted October 26, 2023 Author Posted October 26, 2023 (edited) thanks! I think I get the idea, creating a vr and a 2d folder, but how to create the custom configs needed in each one if I just want graphics settings preserved? Do I just run it it VR, then save & exit and copy the config folder, then rinse and repeat for 2d? Edited October 26, 2023 by Sprool
Sprool Posted October 27, 2023 Author Posted October 27, 2023 This is easier for what I'm after: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3319775/

Even better would be if we could have it like VR in MSFS. The program is launched in 2D. Then after starting a flight we switch to VR with a keycombination. There are no reason to be in VR when navigating menues and setting things up. Add this to the wishlist. 2
Sprool Posted October 28, 2023 Author Posted October 28, 2023 totally agree, msfs is so easy to switch between the 2 modes - i just have a button on the hotas assigned to do the switch 1
