Tyler Russ Posted February 12, 2024 Posted February 12, 2024 (edited) Just had this issue, lowered the wind to zero and he holds a stable hover with zero movement at all. Also I gave him a untrimmed aircraft on top of that and he had zero issues holding the hover when I switched upfront EDIT: tested again with trim and he hovered fine, then I added 6 knot winds at 33ft and the yawing came back. 0 Turbulence as well Edited February 12, 2024 by Tyler Russ
beacon Posted February 23, 2024 Posted February 23, 2024 when i go in the front seat goerge is hovering ok no issue there but when i switch back and try to fly the apache all the controls are bugged, like george is still trying to take over while i am flying. this is tested in mulitplayer but also happens on nevada training ramp

It is working fine for me. It took about a second to get control and it was not as chaotic as it was a few months ago. Even with wind. I was quite surprised that I did not struggle at all, because I was expecting a bit of a struggle. And there was no need to reset the trim either. But I'm not playing DCS that often at the moment. So maybe I was just lucky. 1 DCS:A-10C / DCS:Ka-50 / DCS:UH-1H / DCS:Mig21bis / DCS:P-51D / DCS:Mi-8MTV2 / DCS:Fw190D9 / DCS:Bf109K4 / DCS:C-101EB / DCS:L-39C / DCS:F-5E / DCS:Spitfire LF Mk. richebel Posted March 5, 2024 Posted March 5, 2024 The only time I have noticed problems with George as pilot is when I am operating at high elevations with a heavy load. I start sitting in the pilot's seat and when reaching the target I pull into a hover. With the higher elevation and load, I require around 100% torque to maintain hover. Then I switch to the CPG seat. The aircraft then tries to maintain the hover I initiated, but then slowly loses altitude until almost a ground level. If I issue a George command to increase altitude, he acknowledges, but the altitude never increases. This appears to be the correct response, since George refuses to over-torque the engines.
