MGRS not aligned to map correctly

I noticed in 2.9 that the MGRS co-ordinates on the Caucasus map are not matching when cursor hover or do ALT+Y. Seems to be off by about 300km in a northly direction. I thought it might be a seasons weather bug but it seems to be regardless.

Or am I missing something?

The coordinates on the aerodrome data don't correspond to the centerpoint of the runway, they correspond to the approximate foot of the runway (in your example, the foot of runway 25).

But the first few digits of the co-ordinates dont match the area shown.

That is because the Airport Info gives the approx. location of RWY 25's threshold, NOT  the location of the runway centre / symbol

... the northing is off by 3km if I read it correctly

You don't, MGRS is Easting followed by Northing - the OP's Easting is approx 1.3 km "off" because they measured the co-ordinates of the runway centre/Airport symbol, NOT RWY 25's threshold.

• Runway Centre /  Airport Symbol is at the edge of grid square KM 91 72
• RWY 25's threshold is in grid square KM 93 72

Ah, thanks @Ramsay for correction.

That would make sense to me as I was wondering why is "northing" off by ~3km which could be RWY length, but "easting" only few hundred meters... Something was odd to me there, but I didn't realize I switched northing and easting.
