windsurfingstew Posted November 27, 2023 Posted November 27, 2023 When setting up your controller, you have the option of assigning a modifier or a switch (toggle) key. If using the latter, ie switch, is there an easy way to see whether the switch is on or off? Clearly you can get into a state where you're not sure whether the switch is on or off, without pressing a key to see which version it is.

As silverdevil notes, you might be better off with a modifier button, rather than a switch. I have used switches but only for entire categories of commands ie. A2A, A2G, Enroute. But I still prefer modifiers, since there’s nothing to forget. The modifier is either pressed or it’s not. When pressed, it’s active. When not, not. Only times I've used a switch is with an actual physical one, so I will know which "mode" it's in. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
