You don't have the option in Windows display settings to change from "show only on 1" to "extend these displays"? or in displaylink manager to change from disconnected to extend/duplicate? Are they connected to a powered hub?

I have ad nauseum. Same results! I'm left wondering if it is a software thing on my end. Nothing that I have in the Display manager shows up in the Displaylink manager nor SimAppPro. The MFD's are there and working. I can manipulate the buttons, just cannot get them to work in game.

Extend these displays is checked. Right now, I have them connected to a powered hub. I connected them to my tower at first but had the same result.

I followed your tutorial. Had it up on the big screen while I followed on my computer. When I go to the Set game screen, there is no number such as 007 in your tutorial. None of my screens show up at all.

PS: I also have a big black box that says "ID:" on my main screen now.

Is there a reason that my Displaylink manager would look like this? I'm not sure what is keeping my MFD's from connecting to SimAppPro.

Its very weird. Have you tried the ticket system with Winwing? Occassionally there are language issues but they can be very helpful and will probably schedule a video call with an engineer to work through it.

[not directed at you at all but I wish there was a better accepted way of distinguishing the words for the monitors from the button frames cos I often get confused as to which people are referring to when problem solving their mfds]

I am wondering why every time I reoot the PC the winwing USB monitors of my MIP are landscape instead of portrait oriented and I need to re-arrange them with the DisplayLink Manager.

Even with the Windows 11 monitor setup option that does not change. Is there a way to adjust the MFD's to the right orientation and keep them for good?

High powered hub and ensure each monitor is connected to that hub side by side

This isn't an unqualified endorsement but https://store.steampowered.com/app/227260/DisplayFusion/ is currently on steam sale. You can set up profiles for how you want your monitors (including ones where the mip screens are deactivated if you're not using them) and a keyboard shortcut to activate each.

Sometimes its buggy and doesn't quite do what you expect but its updated, has active forums and dev response etc.

Hi I have a ddi problem as well which so far does not make much sense to those iI have talked tp including WW briefly who just asked what version of the Sim app prog was I using !.16.17 LATEST in fact

1. have cleaned my pc od any previous ww simp prog or Display drivers

2. I have a UFC and HUD which register and work perfectly so far connecting to the monitor in DCS and mimicking the button presses.

3. No so with the 3 screens. O ope the ww figure display page and have switch off in fact disconnected all other devices except screens. `These screens do not show as three units but as one in the top left corner only.

4. I have downloaded the display driver VIA ww Simm prog and have rearranged all screens portrait and with correct identity in correct position. They all show a WW sim ID number as well.

5. When I start the install process and having download the driver it goes green

6. When I click on install it says the Display driver is up to date nd refuses to go green and allow progress.

I have spent hours redoing this without success and would appreciate any help offered

Thank you David

Have you followed my Tutorial??

Also ensure that you have the following in Windows Display Properties..

The displays are set to extended

All three USB monitors are set to Portrait

Ryzen 9 7950X3D - MSI MAG X670E TomaHawk MB, ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360 AIO

64gig Corsair DDR5@6000, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS

Winwing Super Taurus, Orion2, TO / Combat panels, Collective with Topgun MIP

Winwing Skywalker pedals, NLR Boeing Mil Edition Simpit, 55" Samsung Odyssey Ark, Trackir

Checking that displays are set to extended as Mustang Sally suggested is definitely 1st thing to check.  It looks very much like those screens are mirroring your main screen.

How (and where) you check if the displays are set to extended ?

Skywarrior, I had the same issue. The SimAppPro software is downloading a "bad" display driver file in the first step. I ran the cleaner program:

 https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/windows-installation-cleaner

Then I installed the driver directly from Synaptics:

https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/windows

After that, I was able to follow MustangSally's videos to complete the install.

Hopefully, this helps.

I guess any powered USB 3.0 (3.1/3.2) should work, but the power adapter should have a proper power adapter connection (e.g. a 12V one) and not some USB style power connection (5V) as those are amp limited usually. For example, the MIP worked for me on a Sabrent 16-port hub and on a TP-Link UH720. Didn't work on some 7-port 3.1 hub which didn't come with a power adapter and had a USB micro 2.0 style input for extra power for charging (only two screens powered up out of three).

i386DX40@42 MHz w/i387 CP, 4 MB RAM (8*512 kB), Trident 8900C 1 MB w/16-bit RAMDAC ISA, Quantum 340 MB UDMA33, SB 16, DOS 6.22 w/QEMM + Win3.11CE, Quickshot 1btn 2axis, Numpad as hat. 2 FPH on a good day, 1 FPH avg.
