sinanziric Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Will there be, or is there demo version of DCS: Black Shark?:joystick::joystick::joystick::joystick::joystick::joystick::joystick::joystick:
ED Team Groove Posted March 24, 2009 ED Team Posted March 24, 2009 Hi, there is no demo planed right now. Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
159th_Viper Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Humour me here...........Why would you want a Demo? I mean - the product is available already. And the argument that one can 'test-drive' prior to purchase is feeble when one has regard to the plethora of info available, the extent of the producers' notes and the multitude of videos, screenshots etc etc.......the list goes on. Feuerfalke Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Fair request IMHO. Besides, IIRC a demo was announced to be released prior to the full release. ED Team Groove Posted March 24, 2009 ED Team Posted March 24, 2009 ...and there were official posts that the demo was cancelled... Our Forum Rules: http://forums.eagle.ru/rules.php#en
Acedy Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 It had been announced but it was cancelled due to the early release of the English download version. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] *** SERVMAN SERVER MANAGEMENT MOD V2 FOR DCS:BS V1.0.1 *** *** VERSION FOR FC2 ***
connos Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 well i want demo to test a game, and check how it will run on my rig :) i plan to purchase retail version anyway :) Post your PC specs. I am running the game in an AMD 3800X2 @ 2.4 with Windows Vista 64bit, 4GB ram and ATI 4870 512. With the affinity trick it runs well but for sure i need a faster processor. As for the game its truly obvious that is the best simulation ever released. So if you are in sims you should definitely buy it. Feuerfalke Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 It had been announced but it was cancelled due to the early release of the English download version. My post was more a reply to 159th_Viper, to be honest. I think we all noticed why there was no demo released and why this was the case. And AFAIK DCS did not indefinitely cancel the demo. In a lengthy thread there were at least hopes raised for a post-release-demo. Be that as it may, opposing Vipers post, I still think is a fair request and a demo had been announced, which is an additional argument why this request is a fair one, even to ED. If it was not, it wouldn't have been considered. Admiral_tow Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Humour me here...........Why would you want a Demo? Just Curious, is all :) Hi, I want a demo because without I could not know, how much fun DCS makes for me. All the information, especial in this forum, show, that DCS is a very good simulator, but I know I won't play it with 100% realism. I also know there is an easy flight mode, but maybe this is to easy to make fun. A demo really helps to make a decision. Without, I will save my money to avoid frustration.
