1BRAVO9 Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 During the last sale I bought the F-16 and I've been taking my time getting it set up and really try to get it the way I want it. Luckily I found a map layout of the F-16 that I really liked for my HOTAS, the Virpil Alpha stick and the CM3 throttle. As I said, I have it just about how I want it but I can't find several key binds, the ability to switch between NAV mode and the A/A or A/G modes. I looked and looked and did not see them. Have I overlooked them? I feel like that at least had to be bindable to the HOTAS at one point in time because its on the map layout I found. Any help would be appreciated. Virpil Layout F-16 PDF.pdf

You select AA or AG to enter those modes. and press them back to go back to "NAV". in my PC (spanish version) AA is 1 and AG is 2, and they are called ICP- Main mode button for AA or Main mode button to AG. I just saw on the attached button layout that whoever made it assigned the A/A Mode & A/G Mode to his Stick and I was just curious where it was. I couldn't find it. Providing me how it is referred to in the controls menu (ICP-Main) is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much for your help!!

A couple things when it comes to master modes, I see you have Missile Override and Dogfight bound which is awesome, but also good to know is that you can be in AG Master mode and then switch to one of those two and when you 'center' the override switch, it goes back to AG. Just a cool tidbit. Also, here's my bindings for the CM3 throttle and stick (Not your stick; it's a VKB) but it might be worth a look to see if you've overlooked anything: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3327876/ Also, I have a pretty extensive training/proficiency mission pack for the Viper that might come in handy for practicing everything from basic skills to advanced/expert level stuff.
