Trailing artifacts on aircraft and moving objects since update to 2.9

Since updating to the 2.9 version of DCS I have been seeing ugly trailing artifacts from behind aircraft and other moving objects in the external camera views. Certainly most notable in F2 and F3 flyby.

Below are my PC specs that include 2x GTX1080 Ti cards sli'd and 64gb RAM.

I have tried various options in the DCS options pages to no avail and I am currently running the following, which I had no problem with before the update. My Monitor is a Samsung G95 49in Ultra widescreen 5120 x 1440. I have tried running at 120hz and 240hz refresh rate, again with no success.

Has anyone come across this problem and if so how was it resolved, because at the moment it's driving me nuts. Many thanks in anticipation.

I have the same problem, with Anti-aliasing set to DLAA. Still have that exact problem you are describing. I fly in VR (HP Reverb G2).

Also noticed when turning on landing (taxi) lights these black cones are in front of the aircraft (F16). Might this be related to the setting Volumetric Lights perhaps ?
Didn't had these artifacts in previous version only started in latest patch.

Hope maybe ED can explain

Ghosting is a known problem with DLAA/DLSS/TAA. TAA tends to be worst for it.

You can update the DLSS version that DCS uses, and switch the preset with DLSS tweaker for DLAA to F. This will help reduce ghosting a good bit.

Ok have a look at that. But in previous version ghosting was visible but subtle now, I get even black artificats... so there must be a difference between patches causing this.
(and not sure a mod can reslove it. Although I do believe that DEVs should have a look at it)

I will post some of my screenshots later today to show the artifact.
