solved DCS 2.9 crashes with A4

New to the forum, hope someone can help me out. Every time I try to use the A4 mod (ver 2.2),DCS crashes with the exception of the takeoff quick mission and Mig 15 dogfight quick mission. Never had a problem until the 2.9 update. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mod, but no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated. TIA

Are you sure you've got the latest A-4 package (2.2 Oct 27th) installed? I've never used that mod, but out of curiosity just downloaded it, installed and tried it in latest Open Beta. A couple of random cold start and free flight instant action missions (Caucasus, Nevada, Marianas) + ramp start fast mission on Caucasus - they all loaded correctly without issues.

Most likely some other outdated mod (not 2.9-compatible anymore) interferes with A-4. Disable all the others and try the Skyhawk alone.

In either case, zip and post your DCS logs (found in Saved Games/DCS/Logs) here, otherwise there's no way to figure out what's going on.

Your log confirms the issue comes form the A-4E mod. Please ensure it is up-to-date (it seems to be, since your said 2.2, but please double-check).

If your mod is up-to date, please tell us what are the exact steps to reproduce the crash. I'll give it a go.

Apparently, I wasn't using the latest version. Downloaded and reinstalled, and all is right with the DCS world now! Thank you for your help
