ED Team JimMack Posted March 8, 2005 ED Team Posted March 8, 2005 I'd appreciate some advice. We have a private LAN (not wireless) running Lock On, not connected to the Internet. We need to implement voice comms. Is Ventrilo a solution, with one PC set up as the Server, and the rest as Clients? Or is Ventilo just for Internet use? Jim Having problems? Fjordmonkey Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Or you can use teamspeak. That works as well. Regards Fjordmonkey Clustermunitions is just another way of saying that you don't like someone. I used to like people, then people ruined that for me.
Revvin Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 At the LAN parties a friend organises we use Teamspeak2, we've tried Roger Wilco, Ventrilo etc but always end up coming back to Teamspeak2 for VOX.
jj_pt Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 After using all comms software available today I can only recommend TeamSpeak. :) [sIGPIC]http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/images/userbars/A-10C_UserBar_01.gif[/sIGPIC]

spearsd Posted March 10, 2005 Posted March 10, 2005 Yes, TS2 and a good set of padded NR head-phones works great with people crammed together in the same room. :) -spearsd
