TonyRS Posted January 8, 2024 Posted January 8, 2024 Hi, My Kneeboard Builder App no longer loads? TonyRS Posted January 9, 2024 Author Posted January 9, 2024 Well… Thanks, that is a shame. Nevermind, just have to make my kneeboards manually I guess? Is there a formal ‘uninstall’ or is it just a case of deleting the application folder? Is it worth uninstalling (completely & properly) and starting from scratch again with a latest download? Thanks again. Unfortunately, NO, I did not And, was unable to get any meaningful advice on the matter! I found the easiest way to create my kneeboards, since the failure of Kneeboard-Builder, was to create them manually. In fact, since, I’ve found manual creation easier Sorry I can not be more helpful. However, thank you for the tip I enjoy both modules too, but once I have my custom kneeboard ready (I write them using MS Word, then save as PDF), I then use the DCS Module manager to remove both DLC, then exit DCS, run Kneeboard Builder and generate the Kneeboard using another aircraft as stand-in, then exit KB, manually move the generated png files onto the correct aircraft's Kneeboard, restart DCS and install those DLC again. I agree, its a nuisance, but fortunately I edit my kneeboards infrequently, so it's ok for now ... here I have the Gazelle, with my custom KB: 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
MAXsenna Posted April 20, 2024 Posted April 20, 2024 Yes, I have the MB 339. However, I enjoy flying it much more than I need Kneeboard Builder so, will not be removing it! However, thank you for the tip Get Skatezilla's excellent GUI Updater/Launcher Utility and remove the MB-339 module prior to using Kneeboard Builder, then add the module prior to starting DCS. Extremely simple and an effective workaround.Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Now I know how to build them manually, I find I no longer need Kneeboard Builder. I’ve also no wish to add any kind of 3rd party module manager. If Modules or the few Mods I have don’t work or cause conflicts I just scrub them! But, thanks for the response.
