Battery switched to on, Apu started and running, both left and right Ignition switches won't stay in the forward position resulting in engines not starting. Would be grateful for any help.

You checked if you have a double binding on the controls settings with your throttles?

Also Rotor Brake is off?

only a little note, switches do not stay forward, they return to rearward when pushed, then engine starts.

Hi @merlin851526

Like others have mentioned, there could be an issue with altitudes (currently trying to fix this internally). Other than that, we have no reports of startup inability. This could be a local problem.

A good practice when creating a bug report here is to create a short track with the issue occurring and we can analyse what's going on.

Looks like this has been an issue since Aug. of 2023 but the thread was closed with no fix it seems. See:

I'd be happy to submit a track file but I don't really see the need to... Just load up Nevada and put down the Apache at Tonopah Airport for a cold start and it will not fire up, manually or with auto start. Its not local, a friend is also having the same issue on a completely separate install.

Turn on ground air supply in the Radio Menu.

1.Connect

2. Use

Then the Engines will Start in high altitudes.

That still seems to not work for me.

The thread was closed because all the discussion was done, the bug was reported internally and future updates will bring a solution.

The request for a track file was for the original poster since he didn't detail the conditions he was in. As the matter a fact, we still don't know if altitude was his issue here. So please don't hijack the thread with other issues.

As for "workarounds" perhaps it's best you wait for our fix since those suggestions are not permanent solutions.

Thanks for your patience.

I, for one, welcome the suggested "workarounds", until the problem is fixed.  Especially considering it has already been 6 months.  Those seem like better options than just finding another server to play on, or flying a different aircraft.
