By some miracle I landed on a small ship with a heliport...

and decided to 'rearm and refuel' and while I was sitting there the crew chief comes on with his 'what are you doing?'...

'just sitting here, chief!'

so i suppose there is a problem with being on a moving ship and trying to rearm and refuel

not a big deal but it def shouldn't happen

LANDING ON A MOVING: I do this all the time You get the hang of it after you Find out the trick is to Approach the Moving ship and slow down the approach. As you get close you will see the point of your Speed match the ship at this point you are very close and you can even feel the point of ground effect as you move over the the ship in your hover. I like to approach the ship from the Rear it make it easy and I have seen real footage of Navy pilots doing this. If you go slow and keep your altitude low so you are just about 10 or 20 feet above the height of the landing deck at about 50 yards back of the ship and then move up to the ship slowly all the other stuff will work out. The BIG thing is Slow approach and Low Altitude.
