WhiskyTango Posted January 23, 2024 Posted January 23, 2024 (edited) Playing through the campaign for a second time and noticed that a couple of times on Mission 3 when Caboose is supposed to split off to go after the radar station Cobweb follows them and do not continue South. Doesn't happen all the time, it has happened twice. Probably a me problem since I have some community mods installed. Just thought I'd post something in case anyone else experienced this. Reflected Posted January 24, 2024 Posted January 24, 2024 It's either a mod problem (never happened to me) or ED's MT code that has been ignoring triggers and flags since its release and they still haven't fixed it. They all head off to the west and then just circle. I've removed all mods and done a slow repair and no change. I'm running the beta version with MT on. I've attempted this mission 4 times now and it happens every time. Thanks

Thanks Then it's probably the stop flag bug that has been present in MT since its release. You can do 2 things: a) wait for ED to finally fix it b) tune down your gfx settings hoping that the game won't be too busy to miss the flag EDIT: If anyone ever sees such a bug, please save the track and post it here so I can forward it to ED. The MT engine needs fundamental fixes…it’s a real disaster that missions are a roll of the dice whether they’re gonna work or be completely broken because the game goes “oops sorry I missed this flag/trigger” I’ve been whining about this to ED on a daily basis for the past 1 year. Apparently it’s really hard to fix but it’s a complete showstopper nonetheless next time it happens please send me the track so I can send to ED.
